Performance Wellbeing Workshops
9 November 2021
Our People Leaders recently attended their second workshop run by Performance Wellbeing. This is a multi-workshop course that we are fortunate enough to deliver for our Managers.
We agree with Performance Wellbeing’s sentiment that “Wellbeing is a priority for employee engagement and a critical component of high performance" which is why we are so excited to be able to offer these sessions to our Leaders.
As part of our ongoing community contribution we held the workshop at Christchurch Community House as we are passionate about supporting non-profit organisations who are committed to making a difference through modelling a strong connected community.
Tenants at Community House include Collective for the Homeless, Family Drug Support Aotearoa New Zealand, Kidz Need Dadz Christchurch , Migrant and Ethnic Community Support Trust, People First New Zealand Inc. Nga Tangata Tuatahi, Philippine Culture and Migrant Services, Prisoners’ Aid Reintegration Society of Canterbury Inc. By hiring the meeting room at Community House this support contributes to operating costs and helps to keep the community rates affordable.
We also used social procurement caterer Can Do Canterbury who employ people who have found gaining meaningful employment really challenging, due to their physical impairments and care needs. Their food is delicious
