Switched On Group kaimahi from across Aotearoa have banded together to collect gifts for tamariki and rangatahi in their local communities, delivered to charities just in time for Kirihimete.

Ōtautahi Christchurch kaimahi organised a giving tree for the Kindness Collective, who passed on more than 40 gifts to three local kōhanga for whānau who need an extra boost to ensure their little ones don’t go without on Christmas Day. $500 worth of gifts were donated by the Group and many of the other gifts were chosen by the Health & Safety Team, who used a voucher they won through Switchedmas staff challenges to give back by going toy shopping at the Warehouse.

Te Matau-a-māui Hawke’s Bay kaimahi donated gifts to the Christmas Elves of Hawke’s Bay for local families, with Switched On fundraising partners Beard Brothers cooking up sausages in support of the initiative too.

The Tairāwhiti Gisborne team used their Switchedmas puzzle challenge win to donated to #HEAR4U, a local suicide prevention and men’s mental health kaupapa.

Switched On Group gives year-round to charities, initiatives and through local schools, focused on supporting low-income whānau, tamariki and rangatahi to access opportunities they might miss out on otherwise.
